New Hampshire

    • Listen provides services and support to meet the critical needs of Upper Valley individuals and families.


  • Twin Pines Housing Trust, ph. 802-291-7000
    • Location: 240 South Main Street, Suite 4, White River Junction, VT 05001
    • The mission at Twin Pines is to increase and maintain perpetually affordable housing in the Upper Valley (New Hampshire and Vermont).


  • Wise of the Upper Valley ph. 866-348-WISE
    • Location: 38 Bank Street, Lebanon, NH 03766
    • WISE is a non-profit organization which has been serving the needs of the Upper Valley for over forty years. WISE provides advocacy, crisis services, and community education to those affected by domestic and sexual violence and stalking throughout the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. All WISE services are free and confidential.

    • Silent Warrior's organization is providing the needs to the Upper Valley Homeless Citizens that government programs don't assist with including sleeping bags, tents, personal hygiene items, food, bikes in the spring for forms of transportation for the Upper Valley Homeless Citizens. Providing for Homeless Veterans, homeless families, homeless youths and the general homeless population.

    • Tri-County CAP helps North Country residents access emergency assistance when needed, at local Community Contact Centers throughout Coös, Carroll and Grafton Counties.


  • New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority Manchester, NH
    • It can be challenging to find a place to call home, especially when working with limited financial resources. Understanding this struggle, New Hampshire Housing has provided a few tools to help with your search.

    • This site provides resources based on entering a zip code for housing, medical, school, financial and legal help surrounding the issues of homelessness.

Vermont

  • Alyssum
    • For information, ph. 802-767-6000
    • The mission of the corporation is to provide a peer-operated, peer staffed holistic approach to mental wellness, discovery and recovery for Vermonters who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Alyssum offers a stay of up to two weeks, based on an individual’s need and acuity, for a crisis respite in a peaceful, home-like setting. Our small house has two private bedrooms, and is centrally located for easy access just north of the village of Rochester. Whole food home cooking, as well as a variety of soothing and healing activities, are included in the stay.

    • For over 30 years, the Upper Valley Haven has provided temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults as well as food and clothing and case management to anyone in need. The Haven has fostered independence through our Shelter Advocacy, Aftercare, Outreach and Education Programs. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services.
